Dancing river (2021)

Dancing river is a project that was selected by Timeout to exhibit at Awakening, the popular light festival set up in the local community by the Chaopraya river in Bangkok. Our idea is to create the connection between river and the light installation. The LED tubes are aligned horizontally and rotated by the motors to mimic the movement of the river surface. Also, the colours of the lights are the colours of the sky that reflect on the river surface. In addition, the length of timing of each phase is just like real time. In other words, this is a short version performance of the sky reflection on the river surface.
